A broken part and no CAD file
Send 1-3 photos with a ruler in the shot and the sizes that matter, in mm. A person decides whether the part can be drawn from them, draws it, and prints it once you approve the model.
- From a single part, no account
- Nothing to pay until you approve
- Reply in 3 hours on average on workdays
- Ships to the Baltics, Finland, Sweden and Denmark
What to send

Four things, in one email or in the quote form.
- Photos, 1-3One from above, one from the side, one of the face that mates with something else. Put a ruler or tape measure next to the part, flat against it, so the scale is readable.
- Key sizes in mmOverall length, width and height. Hole diameters, and the distance between holes. Wall thickness where you can reach it with calipers. Write mm, not cm: a size read in the wrong unit gives a part ten times too small or too large.
- Where it fitsWhat it sits on, what it holds, which way the load goes. One sentence is enough.
- What it facesHeat, oil or fuel, sun and rain, a person's hand. This picks the material.
If you also have the old part's brand and model, a drawing, or a photo of the machine with the part in place, add them. A sketch with dimensions on paper counts.
What we cannot do
- We do not take the partNothing comes to us: no drop-off, no pickup, no part by post. We work from the photos and the sizes.
- We do not scanFDM only, and no scanning. A shape you cannot photograph and measure is a shape we cannot draw.
- We do not copy "exactly"Our tolerance is ±0.5%, minimum ±0.5 mm. A seat that needs ±0.1 mm is outside it.
What happens next
A person checks the photos and the sizes, in 3 hours on average on workdays, and says one of three things: it can be drawn from this, send one more measurement, or FDM is the wrong answer for this part.
If it can be drawn, the quote has two lines: modelling, and the print. A person prices the modelling from the part, and the quote names it. You approve the model before anything prints. Modelling adds time before the print: the 1-3 working days on average is the printing, for the most popular materials, after you approve the model. The quote gives the full time.
One part is a real order. You pay nothing until you approve the price.
Which material for a spare part
Choose by what the part faces. If you do not know, say so; a person picks with you.
- Indoors, light loadPETG HF, our 24/7 WHITE PETG, or PLA Basic.
- HeatEngine bay, heater, oven door: a carbon-fibre or flame-retardant material, chosen by its ISO 75 heat deflection figure.
- Oil, fuel or solventsPPS-CF first, then PPA-CF. PETG HF, PET-CF and PC FR resist most oil and grease, but not acids, alkalis or some solvents.
- OutdoorsASA Aero is on our most popular list; plain ASA is ordered in.
A part in a most popular material usually prints in 1-3 working days on average. Anything else is ordered in, and the quote gives the time.
When the answer is no
- Free-form curves you cannot measureA moulded handle, a sculpted grip. Photos and a ruler do not capture a surface.
- A tight fitBearing seats, press fits, gear teeth that must mesh to a fraction of a millimetre. FDM holds ±0.5 mm, no tighter.
- A smooth, glossy surfaceFDM leaves layer lines. Sanding and painting change that, but a moulded finish is not what comes off the printer.
- A safety-critical or approved OEM partBrakes, lifting, pressure. We do not certify parts and we do not supply them as OEM equivalents.
- Metal or resin partsWe print FDM plastic only.
For any of these a person says so before you pay and, where it helps, says what would work.
Before you photograph
Measure first, photograph second. Calipers or a tape on the broken part are enough. If the part is in two pieces, photograph both and measure the original length from the break.
Questions
Can I post you the part?
No. We take no parts by post, no drop-off and no pickup. We work from photos and measurements.
Do you scan the part?
No. We draw the model from your photos and sizes, and you approve it before printing.
What does the modelling cost?
A person prices it from the part, and the quote names it next to the price of the print. There is no published rate.
How long does it take?
Modelling comes first and adds time; the quote names the full date. Printing is usually 1-3 working days on average after you approve the model, on our most popular materials.
Will the replacement fit?
Within ±0.5% of the length, never tighter than ±0.5 mm. Send the sizes of the mating part too, and a person flags a fit that will not hold.
Can I send a link to a model instead?
Yes, by email; the form takes files only. Or download the STL or 3MF and upload it with the quote.
Broken part? Send the photos
One to three photos with a ruler, the key sizes in mm. A person replies in 3 hours on average on workdays.
