What PETG is

The universal workhorse of FDM printing: tough, a little glossy, and fine with water and everyday knocks. It does not go brittle the way PLA does.

We print it as Bambu Lab PETG HF, in white, day and night.

When to choose something else

  • White only. Any other colour is an ordinary order, with its setup charge.
  • It softens with heat, at 62 °C heat deflection. Near an engine or a heater, a carbon-fibre material holds up.
  • Acids, alkalis and some solvents attack it. For chemicals, ask about PPS-CF.

The printers never change material. There is no colour change or setup to pay for, so the price is the material, the machine time and a person checking your file.

How fast will my part be ready?

Usually in 1-3 working days after you approve the price. The quote gives the date for your part.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum quantity. One part is a real order.

Can I have it in another colour?

Yes, as an ordinary order: we load the colour for your job, which adds a setup charge and some time. The quote shows both.

How strong is PETG?

Bambu Lab's datasheet gives 34 MPa tensile strength along the layers and 23 MPa across them, with 62 °C heat deflection. That suits everyday parts; for load near heat, a carbon-fibre material is stronger.
